Hyperlinks are your friends

Add hyperlinks to your resume and cover letter so recruiters and hiring managers can quickly access additional information while keeping your resume and cover letter concise and neat.

Hyperlinks you can include are:
🔗 Your organisations/companies
🔗 Published materials on the programs and projects you supported
🔗 LinkedIn
🔗 Portfolio
🔗 Any other information that will showcase your relevant experience, skills and achievements

(Focus on relevant information: Recruiters and hiring managers do not need to know the social media accounts of your pets and/or families - unless they are relevant to the role you're applying.)

How to add hyperlinks?
✅ Include the URL so that the hyperlinks will not be lost if the document is converted to ATS.
✅ Use URL shorteners to turn chunky URLs into short and simple ones. My personal preference is TinyURL (https://tinyurl.com/).
✅ Remember to activate the hyperlinks!
✅ Before submitting each application, check the URLs to ensure the links are working and the content is up to date.
