It seems there is a surge of vacancies within the international development sector. Sharing some tips for candidates who are actively looking for their next role!

These shouldn't come as a surprise but a reminder to ensure you get the basics right:

✔️ Double and triple check the organisation name and position on your resume and/or cover letter match the application
✔️ Summarise your key responsibilities and achievements on your resume - make it easy for recruiters and hiring managers to see why you are a great candidate for the role
✔️ Tailor your application - when most applicants are using similar templates and AI assistance, it's easy to tell
✔️ Format your CV and Cover Letter so they are easy to read - use a clear font like Arial, Times New Roman, Calibri and minimum size 11
